I thought this book was very well done. Both the characters were very likable. Maddison was very feisty, but with a good heart and Demetrius was strong willed but very sweet. Definately recommended!

Annoying characters, steamy chemistry

It bothers me that Maddison isn't appalled that her brother sunk a yacht! I think this throughout the whole book. She condones her brothers behavior / taking revenge against Demitrious, they both blame him for their fathers death. Their father died of a heart attack.
Demitrious, takes her to a bare bones cabin/shed that lacks electricity, heat / hot water and indoor toilet for a honeymoon. He basically forces her to rough it and take a looong hike/walk in nature. She hasn't packed for what amounts to camping.. yet somehow enjoys herself and bonds with him. After nearly drowning they end up on the floor having sex, he abruptly withdraws after taking her virginity... and they fight.
I forced myself to finish reading this... don't understand when/how they fall in love with each other. They both treated each other badly and acted immature. Couldn't relate and their falling in love wasn't much of a fantasy or delightful thing to witness.
The one redeeming quality to this book... at times the physical chemistry was steamy!

I liked the story but it was not great. Maddison was forced into marriage to Demetrius because her younger brother sank his yacht, and she didn't want Demetrius to have him arrested. Both Maddison and her brother hated Demetrius because he had fired their father as accountant to his corporation for stealing funds, soon afterwards the man died. Maddison is young, sweet, and very beautiful. Demetrius has issues, gorgeous alpha mega rich male, what's not to like? When they met sparks were flying all over the place for the two, but was it hate or love??!! I would recommend it.
