First of all, I have wasted my money on this book. I am disappointed with the story line. Alexandros Pavlidis enjoyed bedding his London mistress Rebecca Gibbs. They saw each other at every opportunity and in secret as if she is a dirty secret. Knowing that she has no future with him, she still acted like a one hell of a desperate common whore and danced at his beck and call. After their affair ended, the very same time allowed him to have sex with her for the last time. Then she finds out that she is pregnant. When she informed him of this, he basically mocked her in a cruel way. He thought that he could buy her off by giving her substantial ammount of money which she refused to accept. He did not offer moral support through out pregnancy, but however instisted that she gets in touch when she goes in labour and then gives birth. He continued being a cold hearted swine. And there are reasons for this but does not excause his attitude. Then on chapter 11 their re-start their affair. How did she manage to recover from the birth so quickly? Then on chapter 12, she is blackmailed whilst he attempts to bed her once again. At end of this
chapter, he admits to his love for her, but too gutless to offer any sincere apology for treating her the way he did. I am very disappointed the way Rebecca was a doormat. Now I will be reading the 2nd book in this series "The Greek Tycoon's Convenient Wife". I am hoping that this book does not disappoint me.
