Format:Audio CD
i'm proud to say that this is the best album i've ever heard....
the other HIM albums are very good,but i can't even compare them with this masterpiece...their first album is the most raw of their career so far,but the finnish melancholia and the darkness that this album had overpasses my imagination...don't expect of hearing very difficult songs on it..the intrumentation is actually quite simple....but i think that's enough to make an album of the year
1.Your Sweet Six Six Six 10/10...a classic HIM song....and a gothic anthem for any listener
2.Wicked Game10/10....a very good cover from Chris Isaak....even though the hard guitars rule in this song....the touchy thing of Isaak's song still remains there
3.The heartless 9/10...maybe that's the average song on this album....but the backing vocals are beautiful...an epic sad song
4.Our Diabolikal Rapture 10/10....one of the best tracks on this album..and infernal atmosphere and the stoner sound rullz..Black Sabbath with a gothic touch
5.It's All Tears 11/10...brilliant highlight of the album...a very sad ,strong song...the lyrics are really cool....and the song will easily grow up on you
6.When Love and Death Embrace 10/10...the album's ballad....when you first listen to this album...this song will be your favourite...
7.The Beggining of The End 10/10....this song rocks hard...the guitars are infernal mean while Ville's voice is so quiet...untill his voice explodes finally
8.(Don't Fear) The Reaper 10/10...this cover does much better than the original version from The Cult...
9.For You 11/10...i dunno how Ville wrote the lyrics from this song...cause they are fantastic..brilliant song

Format:Audio CD
This being HIMs first album, its a vaste improvement upon their early demo's. Very dark over tones are remminicent of the bands early inspirations such as Type O Negative and the Sisters of Mercy. The songs are pretty well written, and feature some great riffs and Linde's signiture screachy-crunchy sound. Includes early versions of hits Sweet 666 and the Chris Issak cover Wicked Game, though if your looking to get into HIM from watching TV, these arent the well known versions (look into Razorblade Romance for those). It has some gems of its own though, including my personal fav Its All Tears and For You, and also a cover of the Blue Oyster Cult classic Dont Fear the Reaper.
A great CD in its own right, though for people new to HIM possibly not one to start with, try going for the more popular Razor Blade Romance. A must for converting Type O Negative fans however.

This album I have to say is one of the best, no THE best HIM album you can buy. The tracks vary from the fast moving "our diabolikal rapture" to the slow and depressing "for you." This is a must have for any HIM fan

Like any other HIM album it is amazing!! And very clever how they've spread it out over 66 tracks and 66 minutes to keep with the 666!

Brilliant peace of art!
Most of us, the 'old' fans of HIM dream to hear that sound again. If anyone hears the 'Screamwors' album, will have big difficulty relaying it to 'Greates Lovesongs'. Read more

the best
all of HIM's Album are very very good and i would recommend it to anyone who is interested in Rock. i wasn't into rock before i heard HIM's songs and now i love it.

One of the best albums ever made
