lots of information 10 Jun 2010
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a busy book in as much as there is a lot to take in on every page. It has little cartoons with cartoon people called 'brain waves' taking you through all the aspects of the universe. It is incredibly comprehensive and at the end of the day is trying to explain something quite complicated to little people through cartoon and small chunks of information. Each page is dedicated to various subjects including plants hot and cold, stars, galaxies, time travllers, galaxies, astromomy, universe, rockets.... everything. I bought this for my 6 yr old who is very interested in space and he tends to dip in and out of it. It is a little like a funky cartoon encylopedia and sometimes the pictures are alittle off the wall but the information is in small chunks with other interesting little facts on the side which is nice. I think it maybe for older children though perhaps 7-8 and a good little resource.
