I love Hazell, so really the most important thing I can tell you is that you must have this CD if you are any kind of fan of 80's high energy dance music. Hazell had a string of hits through the 80's and into the 90's with some of the best remixes being included in this collection. Some of these tracks, like "Searchin' (I Gotta Find a Man)" and "Whatever I Do (Wherever I Go)" are dance club legends, as nearly all of these are. This CD is absolutely the very best work of Hazell Dean to date with tracks previously unavailable on CD before. If you don't have this CD in your collection, then you need to get this great CD now.

Greatest Hits....i have had this cd and the U.S.A version which had 3 more tracks and all 12 inch mix's for a few years now. i can still see hazell doing her thing in a few clubs in brighton many years ago. she was a very good singer and i even had breakfast with her, and she was always so kind and had plenty of time to talk to you...not many do that now. if you are just getting into this type of music then this cd is just what you should have. you will be doing your stuff to this great collection of some of the best music around at the time...i spent lots of my miss-spent youth on the dance floor with hazell and it still all sounds great......lol...

The Best of Hi-NRG 28 Sep 2000
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
This album truely does pick out the best songs from Hazell's 80's hits, and balances them appropriately with some slightly slower songs. It does with highlighting the richness of her big chart hits rather than diluting it. The album suits anyone who has heard a small amount of her material and is thirsty for more, as it has moods ranging from Evergreen's passion to a couple of tasteful remixes towards the end. The one thing that lets this album down is the cut down version of searching, which would have retained more of it's 80's club attraction in a longer incarnation. All in all though, this is a CD that you won't find yourself skipping through to find an interesting track.
