Now with even more clarity thanks to those electronic geniuses (or should that be genii?). I bought this whilst in Europe recently to show off my expensive stereo system of my new car, and also introduce the joys of Mr Hasslehonk to a close Welsh friend of mine who travels with me occasionally to vintage trouser festivals throughout Scandinavia. To say he enjoyed it is an understatement - the next service station we stopped at he looked for a copy of this CD and unbelievably they had one for sale - he bought it instantly. However, he was disappointed to note that Hot Shot City, his most famous song, was missing from the collection - in my opinion it was not particularly good anyhow.

But why four stars and not five? Simple. The last track, the "Hit Mix" is utterly pointless. You can just listen to all the previous tracks again instead of shorter versions all rolled into one. What a ripoff. It's not my favourite track, but Hot Shot City could have been put there instead for those who like it. Some might even have bought this album simply because of it being there. This CD though all in all is really good.

One question though - it says "Greatest Hits: Remastered by David Hasselhoff" - did he do the remastering too? No wonder he's too busy to do any more films. The man's talents know no bounds.

Never in the field of formulaic soft Euro-rock have so many owed so much to one man, a man who does not exist. David Hasslankdoop, a 'young' loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless, the powerless, in a world of insipid exponents of soft-rock who operates above the law David Hellingboroff wields his voice like a flaming holy enchanted sword, cutting swathes of destruction through the walls of oppression, single handedly crashing through the Berlin Wall in 1979, inspiring us all to rise up as one and welcome the new Messiah!

What a singer, what a man, what an album!

Dave's hits sound great, but remastered they sound more betterer.
Kind of like a juicy burger, sure it's nice to eat off a plate, but drop it on the floor, spread it out a bit, take your shirt off, lie down and try to eat it and the taste just blows you away!

The song 'Hot Shot City' is particularly missed.
