paulas greatest hits is just that. acollection of classic pop hits from the 90s. from the fantastic debut album, superb tracks like straight up and knocked out which make you wanna get up and party. to beautiful ballads such as rush rush and blowing kisses in the wind from her second platinum album Spellbound. also from the super slick surefire dance hit vibeology which she performed brilliantly on the mtv awards in 1992.the album is full of stomping floor fillers and equally fabulous ballads and should be in every paula abdul fans collection. not forgetting of course my love is for real with the haunting opera opening to the track and the funky beats of crazy cool. paula was and still is a great artist with dance moves to put some of the greats to shame. buy this album, you won't be dissapointed.

As one of the best-selling singers of her generation, Paula Abdul remains an important figure in the world of music. Today's youth may only know her as a judge on American Idol, but a decade earlier there was no other singer (besides, Janet Jackson and Madonna) who ruled the charts the way she did. This compilation gathers many of her greatest and best-known songs; from the mega hit of "Straight Up" to the glorious "Blowing in the Wind, " these cuts presents some of the finest pop songs ever created. She wasn't (and still isn't) a soulful or great singer, but there was absolutely nothing weak about her songs; they were catchy and well suited for her narrow and very limited vocal range. Listen, I grew up listening to Paula's music, and even though a lot of these songs sounds dated today, I am still able to appreciate them for their simplicity. Paula scored well over ten Top Ten hits, and six consecutive number ones, and all of them are included here, except for the beautiful ballad "Will You Marry Me" which was unfortunately omitted in favor of a dreadful Megamix. I find it amazing that I am still able to like many of these songs, and especially when you consider how vintage they are today; singers have come and gone since Paula Abdul, but she will always have a substantional amount of followers, and if she does decide to return to the music scene, her fans will be there waiting with open arms. She's one of a kind, and Paula Abdul the musician is missed; enough with her questional behaviour on live interviews, or her kind-hearted stint as a judge on American Idol. We need something fresh, and Paula is just the right woman to provide us with that.
