Lulu is in institution, a survivor and a legend!
This collection brings together her best work in a fabulous CD and bonus DVD package. Some of her older work obviously sounds dated now but the production is sharp and her voice is stunning on each and every track. Lulu will awlays be associated with 'Shout' but this CD proves there is much more to her than that. She is a talented and extrtemely versatile performer, long may she continue!

Format:Audio CD
This really is a fantastic collection. Unfortunately, we don't get to hear much of Lulu in the States, except for 'To Sir With Love'. I don't understand why we can't get air time for all of her music over here.
Oh, and my little grandson absolutely loves the DVD and we MUST play it at least once every time he visits!

I bought this cd because I really liked 'Where the poor boys dance' but what a surprise the rest of it was - I grew up with her 60's tracks but haven't listened to them for ages - and they have aged amazingly well - far better than I remembered. The 70's stuff sounds the most dated and quirky and may be annoying after a while - although it still comes through as very well produced. I didn't know the more recent stuff but it is a lot better than I expected - and the last track with Maurice Gibb is wonderful. For anyone who thinks that Shout is all there is this should be a revelation.
