Significantly the last act to launch a career on the back of Eurovision (Celine Dion took the scenic route) Bucks Fizz persevered in the 80's by taking the brave step of experimenting with different pop styles, all seen here. From the "Hucklebug" style 50's influenced "Making your mind up" to the then cutting edge clean brit-pop of "My Camera never lies", taking in acapella on "Now those days are gone" to the glorious baroque of "When we were young" Bucks Fizz weren't afraid to take risks. It all went sour of course. Choosing sub-John Parr soft rock style tracks for singles was never going to work (stand up "Magical"). Had they stuck to the winning commercial formula they created with their first 5 singles their list of Top 20 hits would have been amongst the highest of the 80's. This is a great collection though and unlike all the other BF collections available this includes in chronological order all the singles from 81-85. What a shame we don't get "New Beginning" though. Arguably their finest moment.

If you can get past admitting you like bucks fizz and just listen to the music it's actually very good

Good memories. but disappointed that the track 'Now You're Gone' was not on the CD - my favourite song by Bucks Fizz (B side of 'The Land of Make Believe').
