5.0 out of 5 stars Truly IS the greatest guide, 21 Dec 2010
This review is from: The Greatest Guide to Golf (Greatest Guides) (Paperback)
This book is a "must-buy" for anyone into their golf. Easy-to-read but packed with simple, yet practical and effective tips on how to improve all aspects of your golf game no matter what level you're starting at. Also has some succint player and golf course profiles. Have read and bought a number of golf books in the past, but this is the greatest guide to golf that I have come across which succeeds in making this great sport uncomplicated and fun, as well as helping to become a better golfer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must have this one!..., 17 July 2011
This review is from: The Greatest Guide to Golf (Greatest Guides) (Paperback)
A very readable book suitable for both beginners in golf and the more experienced. Full of very useful tips for practising, the book is small enough to keep in the golf bag for reference whilst on the practice ground. The book is also packed with interesting anecdotes from the author's golfing career and the people he has met including Gary Player who wrote the foreword. Also includes player profiles on some of the best golfers in the world, male and female. Having read it - and I couldn't put it down - I'm now itching to be 'out there' putting it all into practise!
