This book of photos and dialogue was a rivetting read for anyone interested in Solihull and its history.
People from the area will recognise so many shots and the background is quite fascinating.
Sue Bates, the author, obviously works/worked for the library in Solihull and has drawn from various sources.
One shot shows the road I live in now over 100 years ago and many of the buildings are still there as are the trees and as such is instantly recognisable.
Great buy.
