This DVD is shot using a handycam from a single audience member with numerous focusing problems. The sound is okay. All in all not a very slick production. More of a home video representation.

I agree with the previous reviewer that the video quality of this is really poor but unlike him I thought that the sound quality was terrible as well. Was this shot by an amateur bootlegger in the audience? The band are also not visually impressive but in spite of these negative comments the musical performance is excellent and to the best of my knowledge this is the only video footage of the band available. Therefore if you want to see Great White perform live unless something better appears you will have to make do with this.

Great White Back on the road!!!
This DVD features 2 different shows from the band plus a great interview with Jack Russell telling us about touring, Drugs, girls and good times.
The 2 shows seemed to have been filmed using a camcorder onto tape.. but what a show!!!
Basically, this is likely the only chance you can get to see Great White live without traveling to the USA.

All in all, two great shows with all the favorite songs, old & new. Worth buying for sure!!

Arrived quickly and in good condition. You have to be a real fan, because the sound of this DVD and the filming are absolutly dreadfull. It's worst than a bootleg! I find very strange that a company accepted to actually sell that, but I love it.

Needs work 18 Jun 2007

First things first---a quick check on the band's own website has no mention of this DVD and I think I know why---most likely, the label that issued it (Cleopatra) is not the label Great White is currently affiliated with (Shrapnel). This is probably a "cash in" on the fact that Great White is doing a reunion tour and has a new album coming out so I doubt this has been endorsed by the band, regardless of what the liner notes say. Much like the recent Stephen Pearcy and L.A. Guns DVDs, this one sort of misses the mark. Since no other footage is currently available, you can argue that it is nice to have for that, but the footage itself leaves a bit to be desired. It's certainly live and raw and while I don't want a hard rock band to be all polished up in the studio, this could have stood some sprucing up. It's more bootleg footage than an actual commercial release. It's not unwatchable, but it is lacking in quality somewhat, so just be forewarned that it is not some pristine high def DVD.

A Bootleg? 1 Feb 2008
By Metal Head - Published on Amazon.com
Format: DVD
As a huge Great White fan I was happy to see them finally put out a concert DVD, it's been a long time coming. My mood changed when I put this on. It's obviusly a bootleg of some kind, looks like a fan took it. The audio and the video are terrible. On a positive note the set list is great for both shows, it's just a shame that this was done so poorly. I've watched this once and would take it back if I could. BEWARE!

though i had read some reviews before i bought that dvd i didn't expect it to be so bad (quality). The capturing and the sound is probably of the worst bootlegs i own.The cover gives you the impression it's an official release but 101% it isn't it.The only good thing is the GREAT WHITE's performance which is excellent..........

Love Great White But..... 2 Sep 2007
By Kenmetal - Published on Amazon.com
Format: DVD
I was so happy when I saw the Dvd in my local music shop. Grabbed it, went straight home & loaded the Dvd into my Dvd player. I chose the 5.1 audio setup & pressed play. but to my horrors of horrors, the sound that was coming out from my system was so unbearable to listen to. I know the title of the Dvd is 'Live & Raw' but it can't really be that bad, right? I believe this is a bootleg recording & it's not cheap also. The classic songs are there but you need to have good audio to really appreciate them or it's going to piss you off. So this gets only 1 star from me. Buy at your own risks!!!

5.1 surround...for what? 24 May 2008

Being a big Great White fan I was so fired up to have a DVD concert from these guys, but when I popped it in, what a disappointment.
I can tolerate the hand-held camcorder quality video footage, but the sound? What were they thinking? Why didn't they use audio from the mixing board and dub that over the camcorder sound? That would have been perfect. It should have at least been specified on the packaging that it was an authorized bootleg type thing. Oh well, it's still cool to watch these guys rock out.
