Product Description

Product Description

Lateral thinking involves logic and imagination at the same time, the attempt to find a logical explanation for strange circumstances. For example: A policeman saw a truck driver clearly going the worng way down a one-way street but he didn't try to stop him. Why not? The truck driver was walking. Four types of puzzles are featured, from the fairly simple "Tempting" and "Intriguing", to the tougher "Diabolical" and "Grisly". Cartoons illustrate the puzzles.

Think you know of every puzzle and riddle ever made? Wrong. This book has new and ingenious puzzles to broaden your mind and exercise that grey matter. Whether you're average or a member of MENSA, you'll love this book.

1.0 out of 5 stars The Not So Great Lateral Thinking Puzzles, 4 Mar 2003
By A Customer
Oh dear. Maybe it's got lost in the translation somewhere, but you really can't compare the contents of this book with what I regard as 'lateral thinking puzzles'. Most of this book is based on general - and not so general - knowledge. I would suggest you skip this one and buy the authors' sequel.
