Product Description

Turn old newspapers into long-lasting paper bricks for the fire with
this natural and very effective alternative to burning wood and coal.

Simple and fun to use, the specially designed machine shapes the
bricks, compresses the paper and helps drain excess water.

Simply soak the paper in water, fill the Log Maker as instructed, then
press down on the handles to squeeze out the excess moisture and leave to
dry. The resulting newspaper briquettes light easily and burn steadily for
up to 2 hours, are completely non-toxic and leave minimum ash.

Dimensions:
- Length 29cm (11.5"); Width and Height 14cm (5.5");
- Produces paper bricks measuring approx. 23 x 8 x 7cm.

A poor excuse 19 Dec 2011
Well! I gave this product the benefit of doubt as although one reviewer had said it was useless others had commented otherwise.
Now I feel a fool, six bricks later, after the first two in fact, this item started to bow at the sides and burst at the bottom, the design itself is sound but the materials are not fit for purpose, perhaps for someone of little strength it may be ok but if that is the case you would be wasting your time and would would do well just to burn the paper as it is, in order for any level of efficancy it needs good pressure.
Aside from the poor construction there is a safety issue stemming from the fact that the pressure arms slip of the runs causing the user to fall forward and in my case crush a finger.
Try another method as this fails on so many levels. I myself will add to the design to make it safe and usable, this may not be an option for many others.

Avoid this 3 Dec 2011
Seriously, avoid this inferior product. I can only assume that the reviewer who gave this junk a glowing report, had a vested interest in doing so. I managed to make a grand total of 2 briquettes before this rubbish started to buckle and bend. Nasty, cheap, poorly made, and low grade steel. Just remember folks, you get what you pay for, dont pay for this!
