This makes a nice little gift, the child feels they've made their own toy. There's no sewing involved, just glue & some adult supervision!

Hi I purchased this kit for my 12 year old daughter as a little surprise. And she surprised me by disappearing to her bedroom and completely styling her own "Fairy." She really enjoyed being able to do it on her own. I would recommend this as a present for any little girl interested in art and crafts

I have to disagree with the previous comments. I found the quality of the materials to be poor. The wings had a big hole in it, there were not enough flowers to attach to the fairy (compared with the intructions). The glue would not stick the flowers to the hair and the double backed sticky tape was difficult to apply. Fortunatley I have a lot of craft materials so we were able to overcome these difficulties. The age on the box said it was for ages 8 and over. My daughter is 8 and required a lot of adult supervision doing this. It took over 2 hours to make and had to be adapted into a ballerina doll instead of a fairy due to the hole in the wings.
