About the Author

Angelika Taschen studied art history and German literature in Heidelberg, gaining her doctorate in 1986. Working for TASCHEN since 1987, she has published numerous titles on the themes of architecture, photography, design, contemporary art, interiors, and travel.

lovely book but contains selection of some of the photos which are in the GREAT ESCAPE AFRICA, ASIA, NORTH AND SOUTH AMERICA. But it doesnt contain all the photos that are in these other books, so better to buy them separately as then you get to see ALL the photos rather than just a selection.
BUt it is nice to have a hardback book as opposed to paperback.
so its a trade-off really, - go for the hardcoverwith limited photos or go for the paperback books for twice the amount of photos, and about 50% more cost {buying the books separatly as opposed to the one big book]
