Great reggae songs 13 Nov 2011
By AB.BEN
Format:Audio CD
If you like such great old British songs and you even like reggae, you must listen and appreciate this record of Ali Campbell. Some of them are better and nicer than the original.

its okay 23 Jan 2011
Format:Audio CD
This is the only solo album of Ali's I have bought (I have most of UB40's albums - some even on vinyl!!), I'm not sure I will buy any of the others, its just not the same..... Having said that, I also have UB's 1st album without Ali, again just not the same - they all belong together

Not important 29 Jun 2011
By Richard
Format:Audio CD
First off HE AIN"T HEAVY is NOT a British song.It was originally made by Kelly Gordon (who is male) and covered by Neil Diamond before the Hollies did it
UB40 I can take or leave but they always had the right idea of making nothing but covers even if many of them were pretty ratty
Their biggest U S hit was a Neil Diamond song Red Red Wine but their version was from the Tony Tribe reggae one.
This CD proves nothing really-practically every Beatles song has already been reggaefied and there's a 3 CD set for starters.
I always thought it odd that the 2 sons of Ian Campbell had not followed him into folk music but seemingly he hated the music they eventually went into
Some review on here calls this man the "King of Reggae".I thought that was Bob Marley
