I bought this to back up a sat nav or just in case I forget to take it with me in the car, it's pretty good as it's already got the new Hindhead Tunnel on the A3 on it, although that's not open yet as I type this, but it's there.

The mapping is clear & concise and easy to read, with speed camera locations + a selection of Town & City maps included as well. A nice hard back atlas that will last a lot longer than those awful spiral bound editions, which have a propensity to either lose a page easily or get mangled somehow in a way that hardbacks just can't do.

So it's a good book at a good price. Very happy indeed.

Very pleased with the updated version. I had my previous issue for nearly 15 years. Thought it needed up-dating. Would recommend.

I've used various updates of the AA 3 mile to the inch Road Atlas for about 25 years now - in my opinion it's the best! The maps are very clear and the scale is great. Over the years I have been given atlases at other scales (4 miles to the inch omits lots of detail) and those spiral bound examples just seem to fall apart in my possession! Now my children are both driving I have bought them each a copy as a stocking filler. Although they are into technology & not 'old fashioned' books I do know that they will use them. £10 each is great value for such a great atlas. Thank you AA!

I was using my wife's car and was diverted off the M25 and thought I knew where I was going which put quite a few miles on our journey. This was because she did not have her SatNav with her and did not have any maps available. So I decided to buy the above and put in her car just in case it happens again.
