My 02 Volvo V70 D5 has plenty of power for towing but was wallowing under heavy load conditions. Installing Grayston spring assisters in the rear coil spring has improved the towing stability with no apparent impact on solo performance or comfort. Seems to be a low cost alternative to uprated springs or self leveling gas struts.
