Book Description

7 Mar 2013 Fall River Classics
This is a scientific and artistic triumph. Not just a dry index of parts and names, Gray's lets the natural beauty and grace of the body's interconnected systems and structures shine forth from the page. Using sumptuous illustrations and clear, matter-of-fact descriptions, Dr. Gray unleashed a classic on the world more than 100 years ago. Its clarity and usefulness keep it in print today. Whether you want to understand yourself or others, knowledge of our physical parts and how they fit together is essential. Gray's Anatomy provides that information in a simple, timeless format that cleanly dissects a body of knowledge grown over centuries. This unabridged book will not only fill the needs of people in the medical profession, but will please artists and naturalists as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great original 11 Jan 2014
By Beebe - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
Got this as a gift for my girlfriend who is studying to be an athletic trainer. She has been wanting a copy to further her knowledge of the anatomy of the human body and has been enthralled reading it. It is a little more difficult for her to read than she anticipated, but it is only helping her understand more by figuring it all out

5.0 out of 5 stars A med student opinion. 18 Mar 2014

Great book. Marvelously written, with a very detailed text and nice explanations. Wonderful drawings. Nice printing quality. You don't even need an anatomy atlas when you've got this book in hands. A must have for medical students.

This is a great book with a lot of information! I would recommend it to anyone who needs to know a lot about anatomy.
3.0 out of 5 stars It's Okay 3 Mar 2014

I probably should have read the description a little better. The print and pictures are too small and I would have liked color.
