This is an excellent resource for urban designers or aspiring urban design or town planning students who wish to know what is best and considered professionally acceptable in the profession in terms of presentation.

It consists of advice, what to do and what not to do, as well as graphic examples from case studies to illustrate what is done in practice. It gives an excellent clear structure of presentation methods and outcomes, which is always useful for those needing guidance.

In summary - excellent example graphics, excellent industry advice. The bottom line - clear, concise and no BS presentation is always best. Knowing how to use AUTOCAD might help as well.

Not Particulary Helpful 21 May 2010
By Shazeb Qadir - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
The books has some nice graphics in it but that's about as far as it goes. There is no guidance on to produce the types of graphics that are included, what software programs to use, what hand drawing techniques to use, etc. If you're just looking for some examples of nice urban design graphics, it might be worth it for you though.
