Fashion is a high-impact, fast-paced industry that demands an aspirational visual message which requires constant reinvention. I'm a graphic designer specializing in fashion and am always on the lookout for inspiration.
I found it with this book. Lots of great examples on typography, photography, press packs, look books etc.
It's really up to date and full of ideas to inspire and excite the creative mind, also, it's beautifully designed with a fab bit of de-bossing on the cover!

MUST HAVE 4 Nov 2010
By mrep77
Format:Hardcover
I got this book about a week ago. I have been looking for a book about Graphic Design in Fashion for such a long time. While there are a few books on the subject, I have always been pretty disappointed. But I am pleasantly surprised about this book. It shows a variety of different design ideas for the Fashion world and lots of new studios I have not heard of. It definitely opened up my mind to a new world of ideas and is a great source of inspiration. As a Graphic Designer it is great to have a flick through when you feel you hit a brick wall.

This book is a great resource for anybody who is looking for new examples of edgy graphic design for the fashion brands. Among my favorites are examples for Kenzo, Bless and Paul Smith. The book is also beautifully designed and bound. Highly recommended.

Not as good as expected. 27 Nov 2010

I was very excited for this book. I have a strong interest in this category both professionally and personally. I found the book smallish and retreading many of the same images and studios that have seemed to dominate editorial for the past 6 -7 years. I had hoped for fresher work and possibly some new studios, at the very least more current than the Anna Kuan work, sheesh.

All things considered here is a much better book for content relating to fashion and Graphic Design (it retails for 35.00 and can be found at Lawrenceking.co.uk (Publisher).
