I wasn't sure about this book. When I received it, I flicked through it and left it alone for a few days. I felt all the projects looked the same. They all have the same Granny square. But after having another look at it and making a few pot holders, I appreciate its simplicity. This is a book you can use while watching TV. It is not complicated, you can create cute items for your home. I feel some colour change explanations would be useful. I would have liked to learn more techniques. Still, the projects are very pretty. I use this book when my creative mind goes blank.

I discovered Sarah London around a year ago and have purchased patterns via her web site in the past. I was rather excited about this book! As always with Sarah London the photography is stunning but that's about the best of it! If you can't crochet a granny square or you would like to decorate your towels or curtains with crochet embellishments then this book ticks all the boxes. I like my crochet books, there can't be that many that I don't own.
This is definitely not a book I would recommend as there are much more useful books out there.
