This wax has restored the waterproof quality to a wax coat i have. It's a fairly large raincoat, but it doesn't seem to have used too much of the product. I foresee at least 15 to 20 applications of the wax to the same coat, which isn't bad for the price. The only reason i haven't given this 5 stars is because there are probably better products out there in terms of ease of application. It took me about an hour to do that coat, though i was being very thorough! It also takes a lot of elbow grease. I found that the the majority of the wax stays where you first apply it onto the coat (or whatever you're redressing) and it could be easier to spread, maybe i could've heated the wax for long though to make it softer, this leads to some areas that look shinier than others. However this is only an image problem and the whole garment is still waterproof and after a couple of wears it seems to even out. I have only redressed my coat once and for the first time at that, so hopefully i'll get better at it.
If you don't want to fork out loads on a wax to reproof your stuff go for this, it works really well, but yeah it ain't half a labour of love!

This is an easy-to-use product. Especially if you use a small medium/soft brush to apply it. It looks exactly like the expensive alternative (which I have also used many times). The resulting finish is tacky for a short while but is quickly abssorbed. Thus far, rain-proofing has been total.
