I first found this book at my local library and liked it so much I had to buy it. It's full of helpful hints and useful information as well as good recipes.

With lots of basic information that is normally skimmed over in other books of this kind, I found this one to be quite comprehensive, and extremely useful in my efforts to both simplify and economize my household. I have already saved more than the cost of the book, so I'm very happy!
The sections on soaps and household cleaners are the ones I have worked the most with so far, but there is a lot for me to learn elsewhere and this book will keep me busy for some time to come.

This is the sort of book that is just handy to have around whether you are a seasoned household management expert or just a beginner! Lovely to look at and quite broad in it's range of topics, a super book to have now when more and more of us are returning to older ways of doing things.
