Grandma's House is a set of five excellent short stories. Grandma's House is a take on the charachters from Little Red Riding Hood, but with a very different storyline and a twist ending. Bullets and Banshees follows a clairvoyant as she tries to stop beings from the Underworld, who are after a well known gangster. From The Trees, my favorite of the five stories, tells of nature's revenge for man's mistreatment. A man wins, but really loses, when he foes up against a dragon in London Monsters. And Theseus and the Minotaurs is a retelling of the battle between the two.

These were very original and well told stories. I usually find a few stories in books like this that I just can't get into, and skip over. But, not in this collection! This book is well worth the price!
