Grandpa is dead. Simon is living with Grandma. Having lost his presenting career and London flat Simon (Simon Amstell) is now set to act in an exciting low key BBC comedy. After the death of her husband, Grandma (Linda Bassett) is keen to suggest that everything is definitely fine, meanwhile Simon's mum, Tanya (BAFTA award winning Rebecca Front) and her sister Liz (Olivier award winning Samantha Spiro) haven't spoken since the funeral. I love English comedy, and this series is excellent. I think Simon Amstell is a genius. I would strongly recomend this DVD.

Love series two of this show. He has moved in with his gradma and trying to get in to acting not very successfully. The little subtleties you see thru out the series f. eks. his Grandma griving the loss of his Grandpa without the others noticeing is brilliant. They are all wrapt up in their own life. Highly recomend this aswell as series one. Especially if you are a Simon Amstell fan.

I think the writing gets better as it goes along, either that or it grows on you. Simon can't act but him just being himself is part of its quirky likeabikity.

grandmas house series 2 dvd
I absolutely love this series. I have now seen both 1 & 2 of the series. It is very funny, well written. I would definately recommend this dvd. Simon Anstell is so funny in this. Read more
