The general school of thought seems to be that more expensive is better. In the case of HDMI cables (and probably most other cables) this does not seem to be the case. See "Witch Magazine" reports.
This cable does what it is supposed to do. I for one would not be able to tell any difference between this one and one costing 10 times the price. Apart from all of the other variables e.g. type of set up, type of receiver, type of TV (too many variables) I don't think that my eyesight, nor many other peoples' for that matter, is good enough to see any minuscule difference - if there is any.
If anybody wants to be so pedantic and do bench mark testing of something like this, well I think that's very sad...

This Item was very good quality and worked with a Humax Freesat recorder and DVD player.
HD images + sound were perfect using these cables.
I would recommend it compared to the more expensive cables.

I detected that one of the connectors, has some "interferences" if you touch the cable or move a little bit the monitor. So, standard quality. Right for the price I payed. Read more

Cheaper than chips but does the job the same as the rip off ones.
Can't complain at this price and it does the job and was just the right size. Did not want a 1.8 or 2m cable just to go from Xbox to TV. Will get some more in the future.
