As title says, works perfectly from Nvidia (GTX 460 mini hdmi adaptor)) gfx card. TV detects output correctly (all options available from TV menu) and audio throughput is fine.
Just remember to turn off PC before connecting/disconnecting cable. Many sites say hot-swapping is fine for hdmi, but after researching I certainly wouldn't risk it.
Another consideration if using from PC to TV (with PC monitor also connected) is system temperature. A secondary output from some gfx cards increase card temps this is due to the card not downclocking correctly. Nvidia card users who don't want to risk bios flash (if available for your card) can use "nvinspector" as a workaround by enabling "multi display power saver" (no doubt other manufacturers have similar apps).
Anyway, hope this review helps anyone considering PC to TV connection.

The cable doesn't carry a decent signal. When connected to a lcd tv, the screen flickers and is basically inviewable. Other cables work with my testing setup, so i'm pretty certian that there is an issue with this cable. My guess is that it is properly caused by it not handling the length of the cable well enough.

A pretty decent HDMI - It's just really slow! I predict that you'd see quite a visible increase in performance with a faster HDMI, however this is just fine for my use. Read more
