My son has this and its been a good buy for him. He loves his ps3 and xbox 360 games but soon gets bored and frustrated when he cannot complete a level or knows not where to go to next.

I dont buy many of these but to be honest they are well worth every penny when they help him through that patch of the game that had him raging the day before.

I know its cheating but hey no ones perfect. I good buy easy to understand and extremely good at busting that bad mood.

A handy refrence guide for GTA Chinatown 2 April 2009
By Sh Ka - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This guide is 223 pages and is really helpful for getting the most out of your GTA experience. I was using a lot of online strategy/map/item guides and got frustrated with the message-board unreliability and uncertainty regarding the game. This guide lays everything out with rather large pictures.

The book has about 150 pages devoted to the main story missions. Each mission has a map showing you the route of action, a summary of the objectives, pictures, tips, hints, and cutscene images. Very, very detailed and presented very well. Some pictures are the same size or larger than a DS screen, which helps a lot in figuring out what is what.

There's 10 pages devoted to random person side quests. Laid out much like the main missions.

There's 27 pages on odd jobs. This covers the Noodle Run, Firefighter, Go-Kar-TT, Liberty City Gun Club, Hobotron, Taxi Driver, etc. There's a couple pages detailing multiplayer modes and gameplay, but nothing much.

The best section is the map section, at the back of the book.

The maps:
Points of Interest
Health & Body Armor
Drug Dealers
Weapons & Dumpsters
Unique Stunt Jumps
Rampages
Hidden Security Cameras

The maps are detailed, and many (like Stunt Jumps and Rampages) contain screenshots showing you the exact location. Really helpful. Most maps are full page, full color, or two-page full color maps.

All in all, if you're looking for a resource to help you get the most out of GTA, this is the book for you.

Biggest DS Game Gets a Great Guide 12 April 2009
By Aaron - Published on Amazon.com

After I picked up GTA:CTW on release, I realized just how big the game is and how, like other GTA games, a guide could help heip heighten the experience.

Like the previous GTA guides, this one does a great job of listing all the main sotry missions, odd-job missions, and drug trafficking tips and strategies, as well as locations of all hidden items/cameras scattered around Liberty City. It has a complete list of weapons, cars, and the drugs you will be dealing.

The Table of Contents is a terriffic way to get to a specific mission or info, and while this sounds obvious, it helps tremendously in a pinch.

The guide does lose a star since it feels a bit "undervalued" in comparison to the home console guides. It has just the right amount of info, but doesn't go much further, but each mission is given a nice overview of objectives and mission failure conditions.

If you feel that you want to get as much out of Chinatown Wars as possible, do not hesitate to pick this guide up.
