My copy of this DVD set has 7 episodes and is tagged as "Series 3", not "The Complete Series 3" as shown in the artwork. There is an eighth episode, "The Inverted Roof House" and I was wondering if there is a later (or earlier) version of series 3 that has all 8 episodes.

And for my money thats no bad thing!
The ever watchable Mr McLeod takes us on a journey that few will ever have the courage to do but makes it seems so effortless that anyone could do it,its one of my favorite TV programmes and the format is well set now but as i say that's not a bad thing my only gripe with this set does seem to be the omission of the "inverted roof house" one of the best grand designs that surely was in this series when it was on the TV originally its a shame its not there but don't let that spoil a great series.
Well worth buying.

I just love property programmes on English TV! Living abroad, unfortunately my only chance to watch them is while on holiday in the UK.
So I was absolutely delighted to find the Channel 4 series 'Grand Designs' on DVD. Especially since it's one of my favourite programmes. The series has been a great success in the UK, it's I think now in its 7th series. (Although sometimes I secretly wonder how practical the designs did actually proof for every day living - despite enthusiastic praises of the owners at the re-visits.) Kevin McCloud really does a good job as presenter, I very much like his calm approach.
After enjoying every minute of Series 1 - 3 on DVD I'm now desperately waiting for the release of further Grand Designs Series on DVD.

Need more episodes!
I watched all seven episodes on this DVD in only three Sundays; I wish there were more than seven! Great show and great homes!
