Beautifully produced - well researched and written (in both German and English). Excellent photographs together with informative notes on the history of tin and needle production. The book is very well laid out: tins are documented by type (triangular, round, multiple, etc) and alphabetically by manufacturer. A full and accurate index allows quick searching for specific tins. Although not fully comprehensive, as one might expect, this is the definitive collector's reference work on the subject - as well as being an elegant coffee table book for those not wholly addicted to the collecting hobby.
