Graham Shields has worked in a number of academic libraries for over thirty
years and is currently working as a Learning Adviser at the Lancaster Campus Library of the University of Cumbria, where he teaches students how to find, use and evaluate information using electronic resources. One of the original authors of the first edition of Cite them right, he is also a published author of books and articles on Spain.
Cite Them Right (co-authored with Richard Pears) is informed by his day-to-day experience of supporting students with the task of referencing the huge range of information sources available today, and in avoiding plagiarism, a much publicised issue in education.
