Graco Evo Mini Pushchair

Graco Evo Mini Pushchair -- a Stylish Solution to Your Travel Needs

Suitable from birth until approximately three years, the ultra lightweight Graco Evo Mini pushchair has been designed for families who want to be able to go anywhere -- whether taking a bus, visiting the park or catching a plane.

All too often ‘lightweight’ means compromising on either style or sturdiness, but not with Graco’s slick, smart and functional mini stroller. The Graco Evo Mini is packed with great looks and practical features, this ‘go anywhere’ stroller sure packs a punch, with vibrant fashions that really stand out from the crowd.

In-keeping with the Graco Evo, the Graco Evo Mini features everything you would expect from a grown up stroller.

Featuring a multi-position seat recline, the pushchair can be easily and compactly folded using just one hand, and features an automatic lock to keep it firmly closed for easy transportation.

It features a swivel front wheel for easy manoeuvrability on smooth surfaces. The front wheel can be locked into position to make it easier when pushing over rougher terrain.

Underneath the seat unit is a large shopping basket for keeping your essentials close to hand, which is easy to use even if the seat unit is fully reclined. Comes complete with a raincover.

First impressions of this pushchair are very good and I am impressed with how light and zippy this actually is. The pushchair is so light and easy to steer that I can actually push it one handed whereas I would never have been able to do this with my old one. It is also very light when carrying so much so that I can actually carry it one handed. My husband advises me that this is his favourite pushchair we have had over the years and he was even more impressed with the fact that it literally took under 5 minutes to assemble out of the box without having to look at the instructions. All you have to do is open it up, attach the front wheel, attach the back wheels (which are one piece and so are easier than two separate wheels), attach the hood and then go around closing the few poppers under the shopping basket and few poppers that connect the hood to the seat then the pushchair is completely built - it is that easy.

The seat fully reclines to a lie flat position (it is a drawstring system at the back of the seat and is very easy to use) and so is suitable from birth and in fact the enclosed instruction manual (which we eventually glanced at as didn't need it to build the pushchair) advises that the pushchair is suitable from birth yet the main product page advises 6 months and I have raised this with Amazon for them to check and correct as necessary. I do think the pushchair is intended for use from birth as I haven't seen one with a full lie back feature that isn't as this seems to be the criteria for one to be suitable from birth.

I really like the contrasting five point safety harness and the colour (we have the berry one), which I think is unisex and in fact I have had no problem putting either my daughter or my son in this as I think it suits either of them just fine.

Lovely buggy only two issues within two weeks a plastic bit came off the pull strings at the back to sit baby up still usually though :) and the harness isn't very big at all my baby is 11 months old and weighs 17lbs 10 so is tiny n lying down the straps on the end there tight on her! Shame really as beautiful buggy such a dream to push especially one handed and love the huge basket I can fit my yummy mummy change bag in n two other bags :) love it even with the few flaws I do recommend as bigger kids my 3 yr old sits very comfy without the chest straps just the waist one :)

I'm going to put the only negative to this pushchair first- it really needs a handle/grip for carrying it when it is collapsed down. (It is light but a little awkward. Still manageable though. )
Now to the reasons you need this. Out of the box and in less than 10 minutes I had it put together and the rain cover attached. Light weight. Streamlined (as my husband calls it). Incredibly easy to manouvere. I was expecting it to be complicated to collapse down but no- one handed or two, very easy!
My little boy is 90cm tall and he still has lots of room in the seat and he told me it is more comfortable than his old pushchair.
The basket underneath is a very good size, especially compared to a lot of newer model lightweight pushchairs. Plenty of room for a coat, school bag, lunch bag and a couple of bags of shopping!
Suitable from 6 months with plenty of recline options using the drawstrings.
The handle bar is well padded too, making it comfortable for pushing.

Not a sturdy pushchair and 3 wheels seems to be not safe enough for the baby.
But certainly it is a stylish one.

Bought this buggy about 2 months ago as wanted something light and handy for out and about instead of my quinny buzz... fell in love with it instantly! Its very sturdy but feels incredibly light to push, my baby is nearly 11 months and so far seems to have plenty room and he looks very comfy in it... would definitely recommend this buggy. It comes with rain cover... The hood is a good size and looks to offer plenty protection too

Great looking and easy to push and fold however I think the strap on the seat needs to be longer especially for children still in nappies its too short!

I would give 3 and a half stars if possible. Good buggy, shoulder pads can fall of easily and be lost and a fussy child would not be easy to strap in with the seperate harnesses. Fold could be a bit easier as you have to make sure front wheel is turned before it will lock in place. Good size basket and slim design but still managing to look comfy.

We have been using this buggy for 2 weeks now. We have a Petite Star Zia buggy - which is similar in style and price - so I will be making comparisons at times between the two.

Things I LOVE:
The handle. It is very easy to steer one handed which is very useful with a pre-schooler as well as a toddler. You can still hold a hand - something I missed with the Zia. However, it does mean you can't hang bags on the handle, unless you purchase a hook/carabiner for this purpose.

The ENORMOUS basket. The basket on the Zia is tiny and barely holds a thing. We went to the market last weekend and bought two big bags of fruit and veg. They handed them to me and it was then I realised that I did not have individual handles to hang them on. I was amazed when they both fitted under the buggy. Similarly, my changing rucksack can't be hung on the buggy but does fit underneath.

It folds down very easily and can be done one handed.

It is light (although not brilliantly small - see things I can't stand)

Things I CAN'T STAND:
The Zia folds down so small - a must for my very small Peugeot 207 boot. This buggy folds down easily and very flat but it is much wider and only just fits in my boot - the wheels have to mount the rubber seal of the boot slightly.

The bottom strap of the harness is so short. My 2 year old is an extremely petite 25th percentile child - and it is tight around her nappy. When her nappy is full it kind of wedges the nappy into two halves. I am still fiddling around with loosening the other straps to try and help with this - but no luck yet.

Should you buy this buggy over the Zia or similar? It depends on what you value in a buggy and this one does have lots of good points. If the strap wasdn't an issue I would give it 5 stars.
