DMG TV is proud to announce the release of "I've Gotta Get A Message To You", which has been chosen as The Official Poppy Appeal Single for 2011 and is performed by The Soldiers with Robin Gibb.
Sergeant Major Gary Chilton, Staff Sergeant Richie Maddocks and Lance Corporal Ryan Idzi, are actual soldiers who have served in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Gulf War. In 2009, they soared into the Top 10 of the UK Albums Chart and into the hearts of the British public with their debut album 'Coming Home'. They followed up that success with another Top 10 album in 2010.
Robin Gibb spearheaded the campaign for the Bomber Command Memorial which will be unveiled by Her Majesty The Queen, in May 2012.
The Soldiers will be supporting The Royal British Legion with this release. In 2010, The Royal British Legion raised £36 million through the Poppy Appeal and this year are raising their sights higher and are hoping to break that record...

Robin Gibb's latest single is an official British release through the Poppy Appeal to raise funds for The Royal British Legion. This revamped version of the Bee Gees 1968 #1 has a slower less urgent feel, but sounds just as emphatic in its appeal. Robin shares lead with the famous "The Soldiers" (Sergeant Major Gary Chilton, Staff Sergeant Richie Maddocks and Lance Corporal Ryan Idzi). Their vocals are just as appealing as any artist covering any Bee Gees song. The B-Side is the instrumental version and showcases the simple yet powerful arrangement of this classic song.

Robin is my greatest hero. And there is no other person like him. I have had the fortune to meet him. This particular project meant the world to Robin and he was so very proud of it and the money he was raising for his heroes, the men and women in uniform. And so it means the world to me as well. His voice touches my heart and soul in countless ways. And always will. Miss you Rob. Love you.

I thoroughly enjoyed this cd. I love the Soldiers anyway and also the Bee Gees,so this single with the Soldiers and Robin Gibb was absolutely brilliant I loved it.I would have purchased it anyway but knowing it was for the Poppy Appeal made it a definite must.

This is a very good job, further evidence of the undeniable talent of Robin Gibb.
Despite his physical frailty, he demonstrates his incredible courage and harmony and his voice sounds amazing as always !!!!!

Support for the boys
I have Two nephews in the Army who have both been to Irag and Afganistan one is still there. I would support anything that helps their caurse.

robin gibb & the soldiers
long time beegees fan, robin still sounds great,(hope hes better soon) a great classic track and for a very good charity, cant stop playing it.

The Soldiers
Worth every penny and more. Excellent CD, excellent singing and excellent cause. Sang by real Heroes. Highly recommend and all their other CD's and videos.
