Flea Killer can be used all year round to monitor and detect the first signs of flea infestation.
The Flea Killer radiates a gentle heat, mimicking a warm-blooded host so as to attract fleas to it from all directions.
The adhesive disc traps fleas and other crawling insects without using poisons. Each adhesive disc will last two to four weeks depending on the degree of infestation.
It will attract fleas out of bedding and carpets up to 10 metres away.

When i saw this item i thought it might work. Fleas like heat, the bulb gets hot which should attract them and then they stick to the sticky surface and bye bye bloodsuckers. Unfortunately this was not the case. I tried the item in 2 separate rooms (which i have seen fleas in) for a full day and night in each and all i got was 1 flea that must have been drinking and fell in. I have a sneaky suspicion that the other reviews on here are rub"cough"ish as they all give top marks. On a plus side the item was in perfect condition and arrived very quickly. I would advise getting the spray as i used that a couple of days later and seemed to have killed them all.

Fantastic product if you have children and don't want to have to use toxic sprays all over the house. The other benefit is that you can monitor how many of the little blighters you are catching whereas with the sprays you have to assume that it has worked.
Wasn't sure it was working at first but left it on over night in the lounge and caught 7. Moved it upstairs and straight away caught a few more. Excellent product for peace of mind and a peaceful nights sleep.

I have four cats that are always in and out of the house who were responsible for some fleas in our living room. We decided to get the Flea Killer to try and capture the fleas before we got bitten by any more.
The flea killer stayed in the middle of the living room for two days but caught nothing. On the third day it eventually caught something...two cats. The light from the Flea Killer is excellent at attracting moths. This in turn attracted a curious moggy who placed his paw onto the sticky pad to get at the moth he was joined by his brother who attempted to get at the same moth and the two cats struggled around the living room eventually releasing the sticky pad inside the flea killer which was later found stuck to the sofa after the mogs got away. I have given this product 2 stars because of how entertaining it was. However it does not appear to catch fleas for me. As a moth and moggy catcher I have yet to find a rival to this product. Please do not let this put you off the product other people appear to have had much better luck with it than I have.
