Four short stories that are all different in content but share the ability to leave you wanting more - much more.

Eric Jerome Dickeys story is typical to his style of writing - smmoth & full of emotions (mainly hope). I smiled throughout.

E Lynn Harris' story was fantastic in that it dealt with a black homosexual relationship in a way that was neither lewd or crude, merely touching & honest. It was incredible to read about a man feeling as insecure in himself & his relationships as women. At times I was shocked (mouth hanging open & everything!!!) but mainly I was rooting for a happy ending. Did I get my wish?? - you'll have to read it to find out!!

Colin Channers story was interesting but I am still reserving judgement about his writing style.

Last but definately not least - Marcus Major. His story wasn't so much a love story as it was plain & simply love. I smiled like an idiot whilst reading it. It prompted me to purchase Good Peoples (Marcus Major) and I was delighted to discover that his short story was just the beginning to a wonderful relationship, (between myself and Majors work.) Eric Jerome Dickey beware, there is a new man after my heart!!!

I have read a few books by E. Lynn Harris and Eric Jerome Dickey, so I consider myself a fan of their work. A friend of mine from the US told me about this book featuring 4 very talented writers. I didn't regret buying it. Its worth every penny, entertaining, intriguing, romantic - everything you could want AND more! The stories are short and I found myself wishing they were longer especially "Kenya & Amir". Its a non-stop read, well worth the money.

My birthday was on 8th June..and lo and behold what did I get for one of my prezziez..yes you've guessed it "Got to be real"...can a girl ask for more..

Anyway, I've just read the first of four storiez..from the moment I opened and read the first page I was hooked. Where does Mr Dicky find theze characterz...funny, sad, mad, bad (I'm starting to rhyme...)...Cafe Piel was excellent..definately left you wanting more...if they were to ever release it on film I would have to insist that Samuel L Jackson plays John..that guy would rob hiz mother..and where oh where doez Dicky conjure up these monikers for the female vagina??...Keep up the good work my man..
