5.0 out of 5 stars Great ukulele info!! 10 Jan 2011
By ukelady
If you are like me and are a struggling ukulele player (and like me know only 5 chords, not 500....) I find many of the ukulele resources on line to be a bit over my head.

I have tried books too, but they dont appeal to me

Like the look of this blog a lot and have seen it online also - its written in the right speak for new players, and always contains really useful basic beginner tips that the bigger websites seem to overlook and assume that dunces like me have already mastered - eg - this blog devoted a post to cleaning the instrument - sounds silly, but I had wondered about it, searched online and got lost with the million and one products out there - Got a ukelele just gave advice really simply.

I'd be happy to receive this automatically on my kindle whereever I am - particularly the simple little songs and chords that crop up from time to time.

5.0 out of 5 stars A beginner like me likes this 18 Jan 2011
By babykindle - Published on Amazon.com
I'm a ukulele beginner and struggle with some of the big websites out there which I find a bit daunting or technical

this one provides lots of interesting (and funny!) comments, tips and guides for people like me in plain English

I particularly like things like the famous uke movies that is running at the moment, and the songs, which are never too hard for someone like me to master. The christmas songs were brilliant.

I do think its odd to pay for a blog, but I have the 3g kindle, and this arrives with updates for me at work where i dont have access to the internet so its a good idea I think
5.0 out of 5 stars UK reader - great blog 18 Jan 2011

I reviewed this on the UK site, and will give the same rating here.

Its a good read if you are a beginner, and I love the songs, and the humour.

If you like ukulele snippets delivered to you whereever you are, this is great.
