I have used this meter for a couple of weeks now and i must say i'm very happy with it. It's very small and light, it easily fits in your pocket or can be carried very comfortably around your neck. I have found the metering to be very accurate. I have used it with a number of different cameras (from a Rolleicord IV to a Minolta SR-1) and the result has been very good exposures in most cases. I have no idea how long the battery will last, since the meter is always on, but the batteries are not expensive so i doubt it will be a problem.
If i have any complaint it's that the buttons are quite easy to press by mistake. And since there are so many functions in this meter (stop-watch, thermometer etc.) it might take a few seconds to get back to the metering function. This might not sound like a lot, but seconds can really count in photography. Other than that i have no complaints about the auxiliary functions, many of them make sense photography-wise.
All in all, i really recommend this meter as a reasonably priced and very user friendly alternative.
