Excellent debut 14 May 2008

I don't like too much new music (mainly due to my guilty country secret) but this is a good first album from vincent et al.) Strong songs throughout, if you're looking fior something a tad different from the current rock and roll scene give them a try!

One of the highlights of the year 1 May 2008

This is such an excellent album. I can't understand a reviewer who gave it 3 stars. It's got a fantastic rythm, great voice, and the happiness of latin beats and trumpets. A great combo. It's like Arctic Monkeys and The Kooks should have sound.
On My Own, Beast, Blue Boy, End of the Night, Pretty Girl, I'm Alive are all excellent tracks.
Only criticism is that despite having been able to create its own 'band sound' it does sound repetitive at times, but from my pov less so than the Monkeys!

How can you not like this great mixture of rock/pop/latin/I-know-not-what? It's first class bouncy music and it definitely makes me happy :)
