This isn't the cheapest cat scratcher, but in my opinion it is well worth the money. It doesn't take up too much room in the house, but as well as a scratching post it is a look-out post for my cat who loves to sit on the top looking out at the garden. It also has cubby holes to climb in to. I have bought posts/activity centres in the past that turned out to be very wobbly. This post is extremely sturdy and very well made so I think it will last a long time, off-setting the cost.

This is the second cat barrel we have bought for our 3 kittens. They absolutely love it and now they are full grown we had to invest in a second one as all three cannot fit into one! They play with the ball on the string and use the scratching post as well as sleep inside so all in all a good cat entertainment centre.

This Cat Scratching Post Activity Centre - Hide Out is brilliant. It's a little expensive, more than I was looking to pay for a Scratching Post for my new kitten, but well worth the money. Within 5 minutes of unwrapping it, he was so interested and then going mad with it, hitting the ball, jumping into the two tiers and through the peep holes. It is really good, well made and a good weight so it is really sturdy when they climb up it. It's also a good chunky size, but saying that, sits neatly in the lounge without taking up too much space. The two tiers are great and he now sleeps in it aswell. He even jumps on the top and looks out into the garden, as if he is 'king of the castle' !! Bobbie would recommend this to all he fellow furry friends.

Hours of fun!
It took about 5 seconds after taking the scratching post from the box, when my cat was already exploring it. He not only uses to scratch but also to play and even to sleep.
