i bought this for my son who got very disappointed. it is small, and the catapult doesn't work. don't buy it.

This is a very small playset very similar in size to the Murena Den. I'd recommend buying the much larger Volcano sized sets with special completely Golden figures or waiting for the second edition playsets due out this month.
With this set you get either 'Solitary Eagle' or 'Goad the Elusive' from the air tribe.
There is a working catapult which releases by presing a button (the catapult arm is 'stored' in the back of the eagle's head) and the eagles beask snaps shut. The cataplt is not very strong so don't expect to be able to catapult your Gormiti from it.
My 4 and 6 year olds get great play value out of the Gormiti figures which seem to be indestructible and happily travel from sandpit to sink or from bath to bed. They are great for roleplaying as well as the card game they were intended for.
