Hi-viz wonder 23 Mar 2010
As it's Gore-tex it should be good for wind and rain, and it is, but it states that you can attach a hood but none supplied so where do you get these? I have Berghaus Paclite jackets and they are superbly light with a built-in wired hood so are more adaptable. Most cyclists, as they're wearing helmets, don't require a hood but the latter makes any jacket more versatile.
It's long at the tail with a large built-in pocket so ideal for cyclists. The zips have extensions so easy to grip with light gloves. The front zip has a covering to abate rain but I would like to see the addition of velcro fasteners as with the Berghaus Paclite.
In summary, an excellent cycling jacket, especially the hi-viz yellow, but ONE WORD OF WARNING - BUY ONE SIZE LARGER as they are neat and not loose fitting as in the description. This is especially necessary for winter wear and the addition of layers.

Superb Jacket 30 Sep 2011
Colour Name:Lemon|Size Name:Large
After the seams of a cheaper jacket parted from their sealing tape I decided to spend a bit more on a decent jacket and I do not regret the decision. This jacket is light, very flexible and packs down to a tiny bundle. Although I've not put it through its paces in serious rain it has shed the showers with ease and remained comfortable throughout. The colour is light enough to get you noticed on the road but calm enough to allow it to be worn on foot - indeed I carry it around as a general waterproof - and the zips operate smoothly. If I had to find minor quibbles it has very few reflective surfaces (piping is sewn into the seams presumably to maximise breathability) and it would be good to have pit zips.

Great Cycle Jacket 14 July 2011
Colour Name:Lemon|Size Name:X-Large
My old Gore Bike Wear Oxygen jacket finally died after 3 yrs of very heavy use (approx 5hrs/wk average) so it was time to replace. I've always bought goretex and find it appears to work better and last longer. I'd prefer to get proshell/XCR rather than paclite as it's more breathable and robust though bulkier & heavier but haven't found a cycle jacket made of this for about 5 yrs.

I prefer the fit & colour of the Path II to the Oxygen which is v tight. I'll avoid using the pockets as with heavy wear I've found these break down eventually.

I've not come across a better jacket and if you use it enough spending less is probably a false economy.
