Chose this one not for the brand name but it's capacity both in terms of ingredients and also storage of the tools. Thought had been put into the design. It looks nice, performs well. Would recommend it.

I have tried various ones in the past both on my own and when I was lived at home my Mum had a couple too. The big problem we always found was storage of all the various tools and then sometimes a messy clean up job.

With the GR Pro this is made much easier as your slicing discs store in the tray underneath. I have to say I only tend to use the thicker slicer. For my liking I would have preferred if the "thick" slicer was even thicker but it is still great for knocking together a quick salad or maybe shredding some cooked chicken for pasta, salad, sandwich, etc. Very handy being up to just flip the disc over and use it for grating.

Even though most of the things it does could fairly easily be done with a knife the ability to chop 20 carrots for a big party salad in under a minute can be very useful.

Clean up is fairly easy. Very happy so far I have not given it 5 stars because I would like the options for a thicker slicing/grating disc.

always had a kenwood before but decide to go with this one as cheaper than the Kenwood equivalent...very impressed..love the 2 sided blades that store in the drawer keeping everything together..I always had a cupboard full of "bits" before.not too noisy..does the job quickly and very simple to use...pastry great also make a lovely light cake..just put everything in together...so easy..kept my old one in cupboard but got this one out on unit as use it so much and looks good! would highly reccomend as I have had no probs at all..GOOD VALUE!!

I actually bought my Gordon Ramsay Pro food processor from the Argos outlet ebay store, as its only nearly half the retail price.

Have used it a couple of times now and it works great, is quite heavy so it doesn't move around, is not too noisy, and the included accessories work fine, and its easy to assemble and dissassemble, and all the accessories fit into the tray in the base of the unit.

Very happy with my GR Pro.
