Just brought this and was delivered in 3 days with super saver. The looks are professional and stylish. It is slightly bigger machine but creates great coffee from 1 - 12 cups in minutes. It has a metal filter so you will never need to buy paper filters again. You can program it to turn on at a certain time and your coffee will be waiting for you. Easy to use, all you need to add is water, coffee and switch to brew and that is it. It will switch off automatically and will keep the coffee warm.

To sum up: great looking coffee machine, easy to use, easy to clean and makes great coffee in short time.

It's a coffee-maker which makes coffee. What more is there to say? Well, for starters the switch positions could be more positive. It seemed a bit hit-and-miss until I got used to it. And there's an error in the instructions. Given that Instruction 1 (p.10) says "Be sure that the coffee-maker is OFF, the ON/OFF/BREW dial is turned to OFF" then Instruction 7 (p.11) should say "Turn the ON/OFF/BREW dial to ON" after the instruction to "Plug the coffee-maker into the wall outlet". Otherwise the 1-4 button won't work. The option PROGRAM on the right-hand dial is misleading. Yes, you do turn to that position to set the auto timer, but most of the time it simply means "AUTO OFF". So why not indicate that? However, in combination with a Bodum Latteo milk-frother it produces a far better capuccino than the Gaggia, on which I spent over £300 - plus £100 for service after only twelve months.

Has this coffee maker for two weeks now. Its solid, heavy and well built. But the switch to turn it on does not align with the dial, the coffee is not warm enough and the water drips into the centre of the coffee only. As others have said this last point makes quite weak coffee and wastes a lot of what you use. Thats what you expect from a cheap coffee maker. This is not cheap. Even if you like it on the weak side, make sure you drink it quick as the temperature is not that hot. Certainly much much cooler than when you make instant coffee. So its over priced, under specified but well built. Bit like a old defender trying to impress as a forward.

I like this coffee maker very much. It is easy to keep clean & makes a full pot of coffee in under 10 mins.It has a very handy programmable feature that means you can set the timer so that your coffee maker switches on automatically.

After owning the machine for 2 years, the jug was chipped around the spout & the mesh filter was splitting along the plastic lower edge. I contacted customer services for the manufacturers but was told that they could supply a new filter but they were no longer keeping the jugs. The best they could do was to suggest that I do an internet search for one! To date I have found it impossible to track one down so I may well have to buy a new coffee maker. So beware- check out the spares situation before buying one of these!!!!!

Really pleased with the product. Looks good and is really easy to use. You can program the night before so great to wake up to fresh coffee in the morning. Would def recommend.

I bought this after reading endlessly about the various makes and types of drip coffee makers available. It was fairly expensive, but seemed like a good choice. I'm disappointed with it in actual use, though. The coffee filter/basket is fairly small in proportion to the coffee maker. If you like your coffee strong, as we do, then you like to put in more ground coffee per cup. And this is where this coffee maker fails. Fill the filter/basket fairly high with ground coffee, and only part of the water you've put in actually goes through as coffee. The remainder sits in the filter/basket and doesn't drip through. So you're left with less coffee in the pot than you wanted and you have a messy water- and ground coffee-filled filter/basket to take out and empty into the sink. It's a shame, as the coffee maker is really a nice looking piece of kitchen equipment. It does make coffee quickly and seems well-constructed.

Coffee made, though, according to instructions and using the supplied ground coffee measure is quite weak, far weaker than some (like us) would like it.

I don't use it anymore - it does not produce hot coffee and therefore does not keep coffee hot. A lot of money for not very much.
