1.0 out of 5 stars great product at first !!! 25 Nov 2009
after reading about other electric milk frothers and how bad some perform I purchased this one which makes excellent frothed milk it make one serving at a time which works very well as the milk heats up very quickly so by the time you have made one coffee the next one will have is heated milk ready, rinse out between cups. It has now after 8 months joined the intermitant non working, burning smell that a lot of other people have had. but for the cost 19 maybe worth taking a chance.

1.0 out of 5 stars absolute rubbish 1 Mar 2010
I was given this as a Christmas gift, alas not from Amazon and my son does not have the receipt. It worked extremely well for 4 weeks then intermittently for 2 weeks now the light does not even come on when switched on.What a waste of money.Gordon Ramsay should not put his name to such rubbish. If anyone can tell me the maker to send it back to I would be obliged.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bang goes this product! 4 Feb 2010
Literally, this product goes BANG! We have had two of these, we followed the instructins to the letter, had fantastic hot chocolates, lattes and cappucino's..... but both Frothers went bang after about 3 weeks of use. The second one managed to knock out all the electrics in the kitchen. So, unfortunately, although this product seemed brilliant at first, we won't be getting another one. What a shame.

1.0 out of 5 stars Gordon Ramsey - Kitchenware to make you swear!!! 27 Dec 2010
Well! what can I say? Like many other reviewers I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I bought one, it arrived on 8 December. I opened it, it looked fine, then I put it on my worktop next to my new coffee Nespresso machine. As I was going on holiday until Christmas Eve I never had time to try it. Came home Christmas Eve, unpacked and did a million necessary chores, shopping etc. then at the end of the day (9.20p.m.) decided to have a wonderful frothy coffee. What a let-down. I made one coffee it was o.k.At 11.15pm decided to try another flavour coffe but the frother decided it had done enough for that day, every time I switched it on the light would go out before it had frothed. Christmas day same problem, Boxing day same problem. Luckily I still had the box in my recycling bin so today I have packed it up ready to return it as soon as the Post Office is open again. I cannot believe that it is advertised on the box as Gordon Ramsey ""PROFESSIONAL"" Milk Frother. The logo on the box needs to change the last word - Kitchenware you can swear - by - should read 'about'.

Had to rate it in order for it to be accepted that is why it has one star!

I am now looking for a really good manual one, meanwhile I am making do with a little battery hand held which I purchased 19 years ago for taking on holiday and for using at work for frothy chocolate and coffee - by the way that cost me 3.25!!!

Gordon Ramswey obviously did not test the products himself, if he did I am amazed he put his name to it. I will NOT be buying any other Gordon Ramsey items - ever! You will note I have not even given it a star rating it deserves a massive nil points/stars.

1.0 out of 5 stars neither use nor ornament 8 Jan 2011
I bought this for my partner for christmas as she enjoys the occassional frothy hot chocolate. it is was a disappointment from the word go. It barely warms the milk, i would describe the milk as tepid once the machine is finished. All of this is by the by however as today, Saturday 8th January, the gadget literally went "BANG" and tripped all of our electrics. It's lasted less than a month. My honest opinion?? There was no facility to rate it with no stars... DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE

1.0 out of 5 stars Poorly manufacuctured 12 Mar 2011
By Mike
I bought this item from amazon and it was delivered promptly. However after a couple of days use it blew my central electricity fuse and stopped working. Amazon kindly replaced the item with a new one that - for some reason- stopped working in 6 days. The rotating part refused to spin. After 2 days it started working again. After all the above i decided to buy a backup frother from nespresso in case it fail.

I also contacted G.Ramsey's through his website but I never got a reply.

Therefore i do not recommend it to anyone.
