This title presents the four previously unreleased episodes of the archive radio comedy, selected by Norma Farnes, Spike Milligan's biographer. The episodes are: "The Case of the Missing Heir" (11/1/55), "The Secret Escritoire" (27/9/55), "The Pam's Paper Insurance Policy" (24/11/58), and "The Dreaded Piano Clubber" (26/12/86). Goon but not forgotten! From 1952 to 1960, the Goons ruled the airwaves, the most celebrated and influential clowns in the history of radio. Here are four previously unreleased episodes, written by Spike Milligan and Eric Sykes, and featuring the inestimable performing talents of Milligan, Harry Secombe and Peter Sellers.

Format:Audio CD
Two 1955 episodes and one from 1958, as well as one from 1958 that was not heard here until 1986 (an overseas episode) - and only then, broadcast the once! Find out who is attacking Henry Crun with a piano, and Moriarty's plan to shrink people to only 3 inches tall! Suspend belief, and prepare to have 2 hours of fun. Great stuff - recommended.

As with all Goon Show recordings there was just something about the whacky plots and silly voices to the different characters that caught my imagination. I became addicted to the show and through most of my youth and teen years I never missed a single broadcast. In later years I visited my Brother and his Family in New Zealand and to my surprise found it was still being broadcast weekly and that rekindled my interest. The same applies to each and every CD's that I am buying/
