This model has a auto channel search, a 7 day programme guide, digital text and audio description that tells you what is ahppening on the screen in the absence of dialogue. You can also access the interactive services via the red button. Using less than 1 Watt in standby this model is also Energy Saving Trust Recommended.

This Freesat box, for standard definition, is excellent value. Installation is trivially easy, and the on-screen menus clear. Also the remote buttons are well arranged and obvious. Picture quality is absolutely fine and I'd have given 5 stars but for the fact that you don't have picture or sound when viewing the 7 day program guide. This is really not too important so I still recommend highly.

This item is a must for every one, I get all the channels plus more , than you get on the free view box, picture is great. I am just sorry I didn't know about it before,

Goodmans GFSAT101SD Freesat SD DVBS Set Top Box with Energy Saving Trust Recommendation
Unpacked the box and plugged it into mt old crt TV and pressed search, I had all the freesat channels within two minutes without problem. This is my third Goodmans Set top box attached to TV's in other rooms and have found it easy to set up and use, which is good for a techonophobe like me.Probably not the most expensive bit of kit on the market but its adequate and reasonably priced doing everything its designed to do.
