I was looking for an affordable yet good camera. I thought I found it with this version, after it arrived I opened it, read the quick start instructions and off I went taking some pictures (around 12) inside my flat. The quality wasn't the best, but it wasn't bad for the price. Next day I went out with my friends during the day and I tried to take a picture outside and I simply couldn't manage to turn it on, at the end I gave up and tried to take the batteries out, which at least worked because the camera was on, but only for me to realise that the battery was very low! I couldn't believe it, it uses 3 AAA batteries and yet it was over in over 10 pictures (some of them without even flash!), I bought new batteries and the same happened. To top it up, something went wrong inside the camera that the shutter couldn't be close even with the camera off, with this you can't take any picture as they will come out very shiny. I had to return it, luckily I got my money back. Avoid buying this camera and try and invest a bit more money in a better one!

As with the first reviewer, I was looking for a good yet affordable camera for nothing more than taking the usual holiday snaps. On the plus side, I found it cheap, compact, lightweight and easy to use. Unfortunately the flash is so abysmal that it's virtually useless, rendering indoor shots hopeless without excellent natural daylight. Also, if you change any of the default settings (eg from no flash to automatic or forced) they revert back to the factory settings every time you switch it off making it impossible to customise. The quality of the digital zoom is awful as are a lot of the pictures when printed even without using the zoom. Some strange colours and odd distortions appear randomly on some prints. There is an optical viewfinder as well as the LCD screen, however you can't take pictures with the optical viewfinder without having the LCD screen on as well, which would have saved much-needed battery power. Don't repeat my mistake by comprising on cost. Invest at least £100 to ensure decent quality for a basic 'snap n go' camera.
