On first sight this looks like a nightmare of a text. It is huge! However, stick with it. Once you overcome your initial fears about the size of this text, you'll come to realise that it's as close to being the leading authority on this subject area as it's possible to get. It's also useful across the board with other subjects whether it's International Commercial e-commerce or strightforward Commercial Law. This is one of the best purchases that you'll make this year.

This is an excellent undergraduate introduction to commercial law.
It would also be suitable for pre-reading before an LLM for those with no prior knowledge of commercial law.

This is simply fantastic, excellent reading. The book is clear, lucid and does not leave you bored like many law texts out there. You can easily visualize and picture all the author writes about. It is easy read meant for the legal practitioner, student, business person and basically anyone can pick up the book and read it with understanding and fully grasp Commercial law.

This was a very good purchase for my International Trade & Commerce module, and enabled me to get a First class mark. What classified it to be a 5-star purchase, was that Goode went into great depth, making powerful arguments for Retention of Title clauses and how the law of contract fits into the contextual market economy. I was able to critique his arguments, and cite them clearly for exam purposes. It was a great read, and expands vastly on the subject in enormous detail. For anyone doing a Commercial Law module or as their degree, whether undergraduate or postgraduate, it is a recommended purchase for those willing to explore both academic and practical legal solutions and arguments.

Excellent book. Highly recommended to all students who, like me, have to do a lot of reading and need it clear, concise and all in one place. This is the bible of commercial law.

Excellent book. It's clear, easy to understand and boy is there a lot of material here. I'm not a law student or law practitioner and I found it easy to read and useful.
